Foundation Laying Ceremony Held for the Pujiang Campus of High School Affiliated to SHNU

    The foundation laying ceremony for the Pujiang Campus of High School Affiliated to SHNU was held on October 30 in Minhang District. SHNU Party Secretary Lu Jianfei and relevant officials from Minhang District attended the ceremony. 

    After the ceremony, the attendees swapped ideas on the construction of the Pujiang campus. Lu gave three pieces of advice. First: Xuhui campus and Pujiang campus should display their individual characteristics; second, in the implementation of the infrastructure programme, selection and training of teachers should be initiated earlier for the benefit of both campuses ; third, attention should be paid to the design and construction of campus culture, visual environment in particular, to fully demonstrate the perfect mixture of Pujiang culture, international elements and the tradition of the old town.
       
The Pujiang Campus of High School Affiliated to SHNU occupies a construction area of 59,141 square meters. With a total investment of about 292 million RMB, the Pujiang campus holds 48 classes and begins to enroll students in September, 2013.
