Delegation from Fukui Prefecture, Japan Visits SHNU

SHNU: A delegation of 5 from Fukui Prefecture of Japan paid a visit to SHNU on October 21. SHNU Party Secretary Lu Jianfei and Vice President Cong Yuhao received the guests.

Lu introduced a series of new measures SHNU has taken in the training of teacher-to-be students and in-service teachers. Professor Teraoka Hideo, Vice President of University of Fukui, and Hirobe Masahiro, director of education commission of Fukui Prefecture, talked about the training of teachers and students in Fukui, saying they wanted to learn the advanced experience of teacher training of Shanghai. 

Founded in 1873, University of Fukui is the only national university of Fukui. It has three faculties: Faculty of Education and Regional Studies, Faculty of Medical Sciences and Faculty of Engineering. It also has 3 graduate schools: Graduate School of Education, Graduate School of Medical Sciences and Graduate School of Engineering.
