29 SHNU Teachers Win the Development Funds for Outstanding Young Female Teachers

SHNU: On October 21, an awarding ceremony was held for the outstanding young female teachers of SHNU. Relevant staff from SHNU Women’s Federation, female leaders, the awarded teachers, and new female faculty members attended the ceremony.

There are altogether 29 young female teachers awarded this year. Since July, 2005, about 180 young female teachers have won the funds, the total money amounting to ¥150,000. Most of the awarded are young teachers with children, who are at the same time studying for their doctoral degrees. Each of them is funded ¥600 every year for as long as three years .

After the ceremony, professor Fan Qi from the SHNU College of Education delivered a lecture entitled “Stress Management of Young Teachers”. She expounded on stress management and how to handle stress, which was quite inspiring for female teachers.
