SHNU: Ni Hao to Maui, Aloha to China, the title of a top-line report of Mauiweekly, a Hawaii local website, concerns about the overseas internship program of SHNU students.
This August, 6 students from SHNU College of Finance arrived in Maui Island of Harwaii to kick off their 7-month internship of hotel management there.
Signed this June, it marked the first overseas internship program of SHNU College of Finance, which selected the candidates through interviews by a cooperative team of both Hawaii University and local hotels in Hawaii.
According to the agreement, the interns would experience about 1 thousand hours of work in the holiday village or hotels and complete their courses to win certificates from Maui College of Hawaii University.
