SHNU: On October 9th, a seminar on teacher education reform was held in SHNU, and was attended by Cong Yuhao, SHNU Vice President, among others.
The theme centered around students training, teacher education, curricula planning, and modes of teaching practice, etc.
It is advocated that an old-fashioned framework of knowledge system should be eliminated, and stratification education should be involved. The university should offer students more opportunities in practice internship. Moreover, experts should be invited to control the evaluation system so as to ensure freshmen’s opportunities to attend to lectures given by outstanding teachers.
