SHNU: On June 27th and 28th, SHNU President Zhang Minxuan attended the roundtable seminar in Australia at the invitation of Grattan Institute. Themed “Learning from the Most Outstanding Development Experience of East Asian Education”, the seminar attracted scholars from Singapore, the ROK, the US, the OECD, HK, and Shanghai, as well as administrators from the Ministry of Education in Australia and New Zealand, and various others from universities in Australia.
Zhang delivered a speech entitled “Consequence and Reflection: Review of Development of Shanghai Elementary Education from PISA Test”, which drew attention from the educational officials and experts.
The seminar was also attended by Ms. Julia Gillard, premier of Australia.
