SHNU: On September 26, Professor Bruce E. Rittmann, member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering (NAE), lectured on Xuesihu Overseas Master’s Forum of SHNU.
He gave a lecture titled “Microbial Bioenergy Opportunities” to the teachers and postgraduates of College of Life and Environmental Sciences. SHNU Party Secretary Lu Jianfei attended the lecture and expressed his cordial welcome to Prof. Rittmann.
As a famous expert on Environmental Biotechnology and a public figure in the field of energy and environment, Prof. Rittmann introduced the bright prospects of Microalgae diesel, which expanded the horizon of the students and teachers and was well received. More than 100 teachers and students attended the lecture. He also answered the questions put forward by the students.
After the lecture, Prof. Rittmann was invited to the lab and talked with the graduate students there.
