SHNU: On September 23, the dance troupe of SHNU held a sum-up meeting after an itinerary tour to Cyprus, Israel, Turkey and Jordan during the summer vacation. SHNU Party Secretary Lu Jianfei, officials from Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture Radio Film and TV, and relevant staff from SHNU College of Music attended the meeting.
Zheng Huihui, head of the dance troupe, introduced their rehearsal, performance, and cultural exchanges during their 32 days’ visit abroad. With the support of the cultural counselors of the four countries, the performance won a great success.
Lu, on behave of SHNU, expressed his gratitude for the support of Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture Radio Film and TV. He spoke highly of members of the dance troupe who have won honor for SHNU, for Shanghai and for the country. Lu also suggested that the troupe prepare a performance for the three overseas Confucius Institutes of SHNU, especially for the one in the University of Botswana, where they could disseminate the Chinese culture.
