SHNU: M.R.Nazeri and A.Ghorbani, Consul-general and Vice Consul of Iranian consulate in Shanghai, visited SHNU on September 22. SHNU Party Secretary Lu Jianfei received the guests. Lu expressed warm welcome to the guests on behalf of SHNU, and gave a brief overview of the university. He said SHNU has been keeping frequent academic exchanges with scholars in Iran and paid much attention to the cooperation between the two sides. The consul-general said he would fully support the academic exchanges and hoped that more cooperation could be built in economy and culture. Both parties swapped ideas on such fields as Religious Studies, Women’s Studies, Islamic culture, etc. For the time being, SHNU has four Iranian students, and one of them is a bachelor degree student. （Translated by Shou Wenjie）
