Seminar Held on Construction and Development of the Undergraduate Program of TCFL

SHNU: On September 17, the SHNU International College of Chinese Studies (ICCS) held a seminar on the construction and development of the undergraduate program of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (TCFL).

SHNU Vice President Cong Yuhao attended the opening ceremony and made a stirring speech. He affirmed the achievements of ICCS in TCFL through the years and wished the seminar a great success.

Prof. Qi Huyang, Dean of ICCS, introduced both the construction concept and scheme of TCFL in the college. He also mentioned problems and countermeasures in their exploration of the talent cultivation mode.

Academic leaders from Capital Normal University, Anhui University, Zhejiang Normal University, Suzhou University, East China Normal University, Shanghai International Studies University, etc., had a heated discussion on problems related to TCFL including its educational objective, curriculums, compilation and publication of textbooks, and construction of teaching resources.
