SHNU: On September 13th, the Donation Ceremony of SHNU ICCS (International College of Chinese Studies) Zhang Bin Scholarship and 2011 Greeting of Freshmen and Parents were held at the university lecture hall. The donator and the reputed linguist Zhang Bin, was seen present at the ceremony with SHNU Vice President Cong Yuhao, and others from SHNU Education Development Foundation, and ICCS.
Details concerning the scholarship were briefed, and Zhang, the 92-year-old donator, touched each of the audience by his dedicated will to his profession for 60 years.
It is noted that the Zhang Bin Scholarship shall fall into 3 categories, that for Excellence, for Ambition, and for Talents. The awardees should be Chinese undergraduates of ICCS with outstanding performances of promoting internationally Chinese language and culture. |
