SHNU: Themed “New Rhythm of Education Morals -- Honor and Duty”, the 27th Celebration Conference of Teachers’ Day was held in SHNU, participated by teachers’ representatives, retirees and students from various departments and colleges.
The ceremony kicked off with a poem recital by a team of SHNU authorities who extend their in-depth convictions towards the educational career, which touched the chord with the audience.
During the ceremony, 11 teachers were awarded the title of moral models with other SHNU outstanding teachers, excellent education staffs, and service stars. Also, foreign teachers were invited to the celebration, two of whom sang English songs as their gifts to the Teachers’ Day.
Lu Jianfei, SHNU Party Secretary, stressed at the ceremony that education should be oriented towards the lifelong development of students, and teachers should completely transfer the focus of education from teachers to students. Moreover, the university also calls for all-inclusive development.
