3 SHNU Scholars Bound for Shigatse to Train Local Teachers

SHNU: From August 20th to 30th, 3 SHNU professors of history, foreign languages, and physics respectively made way for Shigatse, Tibet to promote the local summer training program for over 100 teachers. The program was successfully completed by the concerted efforts of both SHNU and the 6th Shanghai-aiding-Tibet Liaison Group.
As required by local Bureau of Education, a number of teachers of the 3 subjects of secondary education, namely, history, English and physics were trained by way of theme seminar, discussions and classes auditing. The training aims at strengthening teaching skills, optimizing classes arrangements, and improving educational efficiency.
After that, the SHNU scholars went to some middle schools in Tibet with an average altitude of over 4,100 meters, and offered suggestions to local teachers after class hours.
