SHNU: Cosponsored by Fudan University and SHNU, the 10th Annual Conference of Chinese Comparative Literature Studies and International Symposium were held in Shanghai. Over 400 scholars and professors from 20 universities home and abroad were involved to attend. Lu Jianfei, SHNU Vice Party Secretary, delivered a fluent English speech at the closing ceremony. Centering on contemporary comparative literature and structuring of methodology, the conference falls into 17 working motifs: 1. Return of Literature：Comparative Literature as Literature Studies; 2. Comparison of Chinese and Foreign Poetry; 3. Relations of Chinese and Foreign Literature 4. Comparative Literature and Translation Studies; 5. Classic Intercultural Elucidation of World Literature; 6. Literature of Diaspora and Overseas Chinese Literature; 7. Overseas Chinese Studies in View of Comparative Literature; 8. Literature and Religion; 9. Literature and Anthropology; 10. Education Studies of Chinese Comparative Literature; 11.Studies of East Asian Literature Relations；12. Studies of Chinese Multi-ethnic Groups Relations; 13. New Media and Literature Writing; 14. City：Concept, History and Literature Reproduction; 15. Functions and Presence of Literature Periodicals; 16. Classic Studies and Comparative Literature; 17.Review and Outlook：30 years of Chinese Comparative Literature. Two venues were selected: Fudan University for August 9th and 10th, and SHNU from August 11th till the end. |
