SHNU: On June 22, President Neil Albert Salonen and his two colleagues from the University of Bridgeport, U.S., came to SHNU for a visit. SHNU Party Secretary Lu Jianfei warmly received the guests.
The two parties swapped ideas on interscholastic cooperation and exchanges and agreed that the teacher and student exchange will enhance mutual understanding and integration of different cultures. An agreement was finally signed based on the meeting.
On June 23, Lu Jianfei met 4 delegates from Waterford Institute of Technology of Ireland including its Vice President Dr. Paul Barry and Dr. Micheal O'hE, Dean of Department of Computer Science.
Mr. Lu firstly referred to the nice trip he had in April at Waterford, where the two universities signed an agreement on the cooperation for the bachelor degree program in Engineering Management. An initial cooperation intent was reached on the “Three-Plus-One” Double Bachelor Degree Program, teachers’ visiting program and cooperative scientific researches.
