SHNU: SHNU Dance Troupe, dispatched by State Ministry of Culture and Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Radio, will visit Cyprus, Israel, Turkey and Jordan from June 23 to July 27. The 21 teachers and students are going to perform in the 40th Anniversary of the Diplomatic Relations of China and Cyprus, Israel's Folk Dance Tour, and also various art festivals in Turkey and Jordan.
On June 21, SHNU Vice President Lu Jianfei and responsible persons from Foreign Affairs Office of Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Radio as well as relevant departments of SHNU visited the dance troupe. They were all satisfied with their performance and hoped that the dancers could take responsibility and make contribution to the long-lasting friendship between people of China and these four countries.
SHNU Dance Troupe has successfully performed in many countries, including France, Korea, Egypt, etc. This overseas visit is a high-level tour, involving many countries, and will last for a long time. State Ministry of Culture and Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Radio sponsored this visit.
