SHNU: On the afternoon of June 22, a meeting was held in SHNU to announce the appointment and removal decisions on SHNU Party Secretary and President.
Lu Fengmei, Deputy Minister of Organization Department of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee attended the meeting. Also present were Li Xuanhai, Party Secretary of Education, Science, Culture and Public Health Committee, all the SHNU authorities and relevant representatives.
Lu Fengmei announced the decisions made by CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee to appoint Lu Jianfei as SHNU Secretary of the Party Committee and Zhangmin SHNU President. She also affirmed pragmatic working style of former Party Secretary Zhou Honggang and former President Li Jin, who have led SHNU to remarkable achievement in every field.
In his speech, Zhou Honggang remarked he firmly believed SHNU would make greater progress with the efforts of new leaders and all the staff members. Li Jin congratulated on the new leadership and gave his best wishes to the university. They both expressed gratitude for the support of the leaders, colleagues, and teachers and students.
Lu Jianfei, the new Party Secretary mentioned the vitality and creativity of the leadership. He said, with the cooperation of the members of his team, he would do all he could to accelerate university development and accomplish the glorious mission endowed by the era and all the SHNU members.
Zhang Minxuan, the new President expressed his gratitude towards the trust of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and all the SHNU staff. He indicated that the whole university should be well aware of the incoming challenge and crises so that the unique SHNU status and spirit would be accepted and approved by society.
