Delegation from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Visits SHNU for Interscholastic Cooperation

SHNU: Recently, a delegation headed by Mr. Fulop, Director of the Science of Animated Cartoon Program of Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME), Hungary, paid a visit to SHNU’s Xie Jin Film and Television Art College for cooperation issues.

The delegation was cordially received by Zhao Bingxiang, Dean of SHNU Xie Jin Film and Television Art College. Also present was Ms. Agota, Cultural and Educational Consul of Consulate General of the Republic of Hungary in Shanghai.

Both sides introduced their concept, curricula, teaching philosophy and method, etc, and exchanged views on the works of students from both universities.

Ms. Agota said if the negotiation went on well, SHNU would be the first Chinese university that has ever established a cooperative relation with MOME. The two parties further discussed issues like student exchange, academic information interchange, etc, and initial intent was achieved on summer workshop of international students.

Founded in 1870, MOME is located at the capital of Hungary, famous for its professional art design with a history of more than 120 years. Today there are more than 500 students and over 100 teachers studying and working in the university. The university provides Bachelor programs, Master programs, and a series of professional training programs. The curricula include art & design theory, metalwork and jewellery design, and media design, etc.
