SHNU: News came that 6 SHNU students from College of Civil Engineering were awarded First Class Honors by the Napier University of Edinburgh. These SHNU students outrivaled many international students, and even some number of local British students.
There are 5 different degrees for Bachelor’s, and the First Class Honour is the highest. Only few outstanding students are qualified for it, and many receivers tend to be candidates of such universities as Oxford, Cambridge, and Imperial College London.
The cooperative program between SHNU and Napier involves 25 SHNU students who have been studying and working for degrees in Napier, among whom 23 have been enrolled to the top 30 universities in the UK.
