SHNU: May the 12th marks the 3rd year of the Wenchuan Earthquake. Sponsored by China Youth Foundation, the 221st training session of music teachers working for the Hope Project schools (those primary schools funded by charitable means) was organized by SHNU College of Music.
The trainees come from 8 provinces and 9 nationalities of China, and most of them are from the quake-stricken areas. A one-week basic music course would be offered, accompanied by auditing courses in 2 primary schools in Shanghai.
All these are intended to enrich the teaching experience and skills of music teachers in primary schools of poor regions funded by China Hope Project.
