SHNU: On May 15th, the 2011 Shanghai Scientific and Technological Festival was initiated in which the SHNU SCEMT was named as Shanghai Education Base of Scientific Education with 19 other counterparts.
Up to now more than 200 such bases have been founded to enable more people to have access to science by presenting them with knowledge of such fields as astronomy, geology, railways, and communications.
