SHNU: The Course-completion Ceremony of the Sixth-term Chinese Class of Botswana Confucius Institute was held in Botswana University on May 5. Four officials from Chinese embassy in Botswana, including counselor Gou Haodong, attended the ceremony.
Altogether 153 students passed the exam and got their course-completion certificates, and 46 of them won the full-attendance award. The persistent enthusiasm for Chinese language and culture as shown by teachers and students of Botswana University impressed the guests present and working staff of the Confucius Institute.
It is worth mentioning that the Chinese teachers responsible for the teaching did their job well and won a good reputation for SHNU.
The seventh term will open 11 classes and start at the end of May.
