SHNU: The 2011 Kangjian Community Fortnightly Concert and Opening Ceremony of the Community Arts Festival was held on April 28. Cai Lifu, Party Secretary of Culture Bureau of Xuhui District, attended the opening ceremony and conferred letters of appointment to SHNU teachers Miao Huaqing, Miao Xiaolong, Shen Lin and Sun Yayan, who will work part time as culture and art directors of Kangjian Community. Relevant people from Kangjian Community and SHNU Music College spoke at the meeting. As a culture brand of the community, the Fortnightly Concert will provide more high-quality cultural products for local residents and in the meantime set up a stage for university students where they could swap skills and improve themselves.
