The opening ceremony of the 2011 International Art Festival of SHNU was held on April 21. Since its establishment in 2005, SHNU International Arts Festival is held every two years, and this is the fourth time the festival has been held. Under the theme of “Integration of Multi-Cultures & Exhibition of Distinctive Arts”, the festival exemplifies great efforts of SHNU teachers and students to develop the international cultural and educational exchange programs. Such an activity not only helps to strengthen the friendship and cooperation between SHNU and the overseas partner universities, but can also boost mutual understanding of cultural and artistic development in different countries.
