SHNU: On April 13, the 1st SHNU Competition of Teaching Skills was held to promote the necessary skills of students who are to be future teachers.
Relevant staff from SHNU Student Affairs Office, College of Education and over 500 student representatives were present at the ceremony. An ensuing lecture entitled “A Class Teacher Should Put Heart to Work” was delivered by Shen Xiaping, senior teacher of Luwan District and winner of “Shanghai Gardener Award".
Over 5,000 students from 11 colleges with majors related to teacher education will have opportunities to take part. Such activities as displaying the charisma of outstanding teachers, rivaling in classroom teaching and other skills, demonstrating featured education of various colleges, etc. would be included in the one-month competition.
