11 Apr 2011

SHNU: About 80 Chinese undergraduate students and 60 international students of SHNU took part in an exchange activity organized by International College of Chinese Studies (ICCS) on Fengxian Campus on March 30.

All the students were divided into 14 groups. At the beginning, the Chinese students introduced typical Shanghai food, architecture, and recreational activities to the foreign students before they began to make paper roses together. In outdoor activities, the students went to fly kites, played games and walked around the campus, all of whom spent an unforgettable and happy afternoon together.

Presently altogether 692 foreign students from 48 countries are studying in ICCS. The foreign exchange activity is one of the traditions of the college which aims at helping students to better understand and appreciate different cultures and improving foreign students’ communication abilities.
