The Fourth Awarding Ceremony of Top 100 Websites in Institutions of Higher Education in China was held the other day. SHNU Xuesihu BBS (http://bbs.shnu.edu.cn/) is among the awarded websites. Representatives from the Youth League Committee of SHNU attended the ceremony.
Xuesihu BBS has been opened since October, 2000. Under the leadership of SHNU Party Committee and joint efforts of relevant departments, it has witnessed a rapid development on campus internet culture during the decade.
Initiated in May, 2005, the award was held by the Chinese College Students Online (http://www.univs.cn/). Altogether 434 colleges throughout the country entered for the selection. The final list of the top 100 websites was decided according to the votes from the juries of managing directors, students and experts.
