SHNU: It has been announced by China Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council that 3 doctor’s degree programs and 14 master’s degree programs that SHNU newly applied for are approved. 3 new doctor’s degree programs include those of philosophy, pedagogy, and mathematics, and 14 master’s degree programs include those of applied economics, laws, sociology, physical education, foreign language and literature, news media and broadcasting, arts, physics, geography, biology, computer science, chemical engineering and technology, business management and public management.
Also, one doctor’s degree program of world history, and 5 master’s degree programs of arts theory, music and choreography, drama and film arts, fine arts and design, and world history are expected to be approved soon.
Thus, SHNU has so far altogether 6 doctor’s degree programs and 27 master’s degree programs
