SHNU：Li Yi, a SHNU Alumnus who entered SHNU in 1983, and a well-reputed overseas music producer, returned to SHNU to start a seminar, the program of SHNU Master’s Class, to probe the arts of recording for the SHNU students.
With Music Dreams as the theme of his talk, Mr. Li exemplified his points on the importance of broad expansion of knowledge, earnest sticking to goals, unswerving minds towards setbacks and failures, and perfect success when opportunity arises. Li shared his successful stories and secrets with the audience.
Winning nomination for the Best Original Film Song, Li stood out in the Taiwan Golden Horse Awards, one of the three major awarding ceremonies of Chinese entertainment circle. He had a great success for solo accordion performances in Shanghai Music Hall in 1987 and won the Bachelor’s Degree of SHNU. In 1991, he bound for Singapore to start a business brand Leemusic, and acted as the music supervisors for many a charity gala to become a well-known music producer in Singapore.
