American Chinese Pianist Plays Solo in SHNU

SHNU:On March 16th, Wu Yi, an American Chinese pianist, held a piano solo concert in SHNU Music Hall, drawing attention of audience for more than an hour. SHNU Vice President Lu Jianfei attended the concert.
Themed Life, Friendship, and Gratitude, Wu’s speech gave expression to the three piano pieces of Enrique Granados, Shuman, and Beethoven. With perfect control over the rhythms, emotions and understanding of the songs, Wu pushed the concert to the audio climax of pleasure.
Starting piano performances at the age of 17, Wu has been involved in about 600 shows in more than 80 cities of over 20 countries. Awarded champions of various international piano competitions, Wu is employed as SHNU overseas scholars who would also hold a seminar for the music majors.
