SHNU Professor Wins the 2010 “Young Chemist Award” from the Chinese Chemistry Society

SHNU: News came that SHNU Professor Wan Ying from the College of Life and Environmental Sciences received the 2010 “Young Chemist Award” of Chinese Chemistry Society (CCS) with other 9 young scientists across the country. 
       
Prof. Wan is mainly engaged in the development of new types of Mesoporous Catalysts and its applications in Environmental Purification and Pollution Control Research. Her study has attracted extensive attention both at home and abroad, and contributed to the development of Mesoporous Catalysts and its applications.
       
The “Young Chemist Award” of CCS was set up in 1983 with the purpose of commending the young chemical workers under the age of 35 who have made outstanding contributions in such fields as Basic Chemistry, Applied Chemistry and Chemistry Education.
