SHNU: On the morning of March 8, 4 days before the Tree Planting Day, former SHNU President Yang Deguang went to the Green Division of SHNU and donated 1000 yuan, marking his 16th year of donation in his efforts in greening the campus. The total money he has devoted has reached more than 20,000 yuan.
President Yang emphasized on the importance of building a green campus, saying it’s good to beautify the campus, and everyone will get benefit if the campus is covered with green plants that releases oxygen day and night. He recalled the 1990s when SHNU staff volunteered their money as well as labor in the green planting campaign.
Yang appealed to everyone for making a green campus and contributing his lot to building a better living, studying and working environment.
