SHNU：On March 3, 2011, the SHNU Opening Ceremony for Spring-Term Overseas Students was held, and attended by SHNU Vice President Lu Jianfei, and representatives from ICCS and SHNU International Exchanges Division.
Lu extended his warm welcome to the new arrivers and encouraged them to spend plenty of time on listening, reading, writing, and speaking so as to become better cultural exchange messengers between universities or even countries.
The students’ representatives from ROK, Indonesia, and Auckland were invited to swap their life and learning experiences in SHNU.
There are currently about 700 overseas students studying in SHNU, most of whom are from Indonesia, ROK, France, Thai, and Japan and 128 of whom are awarded scholarship of various kinds.
