SHNU：On March 2, SHNU Founding Conference of Research Institute of Mathematics Cognition (RIMC) was held, and attended by Lu Jianfei, SHNU Vice President, and other scholars. Cong Yuhao, also SHNU Vice President, is director of the institute, and Inge Schwank, director of Research Institute of Mathematics Cognition of German Osnabrueck University was invited as the guest professor.
A Letter of Engagement for SHNU guest professors was conferred to Inge Schwank, and the board for the opening of the institute was jointly unveiled by Lu Jianfei and the professor.
As the first ever institute of its kind, the SHNU RIMC aims at offering opportunities to the university teachers in terms of upgrading the maths education quality.
German Osnabrueck University boasts one of the most renowned research institutes of mathematics cognition. Virtually, the concept of mathematics cognition structure was brought up by its director Inge Schwank in 1986, which exerts a profound influence in the academic circle.
