SHNU: On January 12, 2011, the Workshop of 1st SHNU English Website Development was held at the Conference Center of SHNU Information Office, and was attended by heads of SHNU Department of Public Communications, Department of International Affairs, and Department of Information.
Suggestions were brought forward about the ways to enrich the content of the webpage, the development of English news corpus, and training of English journalists.
As a kernel information window to the outside world, SHNU English website has been playing an increasingly important part in providing information about SHNU to international students and foreign friends who want to know about the university.
Founded in 2007, SHNU English website (http://www.shnu.edu.cn/shnuen) has had two revised editions. So far, 1,340 pieces of campus news and 80 campus announcements in English have been released.
