SHNU: On January 5, 2011, 21bereaved SHNU retirees were invited to Xusiyuan Restaurant on Xuhui Campus to celebrate the arrival of the New Year. Lu Jianfei, SHNU Vice President, attended the reception and had lunch with the participants.
Lu extended his thanks for the retired staffs for their contributions to the university, and promised that SHNU would try hard to take care of them for a happy retired life.
The SHNU Clover Student Volunteers Group also waited to help the elders carry home new-year gifts and supported the retirees to the restaurant.
In all, 35 childless retirees attended the reception lunch. |
