SHNU: At the invitation of SHNU, Wang Weiying, Director of Shanghai China Scholarship Council, delivered a lecture on how to apply for the China Scholarship (CS) on December 29. SHNU Vice President Lu Jianfei was present on the scene and made a brief speech.
Lu talked about what SHNU has done in the international cooperation and exchanges in recent years. He indicated that it is necessary to conduct teaching, scientific research and management in form of cooperation. He also encouraged SHNU teachers to be active in applying for the scholarship.
In his lecture entitled How to Succeed in Applying for CS, Wang briefed relevant policy and programs of CSC, and detailed the tips of filling the forms and other matters needing special attention.
This year, 4 SHNU teachers have been funded by CS.
The application in 2011 will officially start on January 5. The Guidelines for CS Application will be published on the official website of CSC at www.csc.edu.cn.
