SHNU：A reporting meeting on the SHNU Education Development Foundation-- Eaton Project was held on December 21. The Donation Ceremony was presided over by SHNU Vice President Lu Jianfei, who is also Vice Chairman of SHNU Education Development Foundation. Eaton donated US $25,000 to the SHNU-Eaton Combined Central and Western Education Project in the donation ceremony. Lu awarded a donation certificate to Eaton. Zhou Tao, Foundation Director and President of Eaton (China) Investment Co., Ltd remarked that his company has cooperated with SHNU for five consecutive years and said Eaton would do its utmost to contribute to the cause of education in western China. Lu said the voluntary teaching activities of SHNU graduate students have deeply influenced the participants on many aspects of their life. SHNU will continue to program and implement the project in accordance with the aspiration of the donor and the donation unit. SHNU-Eaton Combined Central and Western Education Project was established in 2006. Up to 2010, Eaton has donated a total of nearly CNY 1,000,000 (US $130,000) and equipments valued CNY 300,000 for project implementation.
