SHNU: 31 SHNU students of teaching majors from College of Education, Life and Environmental Sciences, Music, Fine Arts, Tourism and Humanities completed their overseas internship and returned to SHNU. These students just finished their two-week internship at UNSW (University of New South Wales, Australia) and California state university, Fullerton (USA) respectively. The SHNU interns attended 8 seminars at UNSW and the workshop once a week to understand the history and current conditions of Australian education. They had exchanges and discussions with local teachers in terms of teacher moral evaluation, multi-media teaching, ways of building a proactive learning classrooms, etc. Also, they visited local middle and elementary school and learned experience through auditing the classes. On the other hand, interns at Fullerton joined workshops of local American culture, elementary education system, technology of teaching management, education standards, teachers' career development, innovation and critical thinking development, and design of diversified courses. Moreover, students visited several middle and elementary school to audit classroom teaching, so as to further probe Education patterns and classroom organizations. Students even communicated with American school masters and teachers. |
