Leaders of SMEC Celebrates the Spring Festival Together with SHNU Studenrts Staying on Campus

    SHNU: On the afternoon of January 28th, leaders from Shanghai Municipal Education Commission Su Ming and SHNU authorities including Lu Jianfei, Zhang Minxuan, Ge Weihua, Cong Yuhao and Gao Jianhua came to have a New Year’s Eve dinner with more than 160 students to celebrate the traditional Chinese New Year, among whom there were undergraduates, post graduates and international students that would stay at school during the Spring Festival.

     On behalf of the university, SHNU Party Secretary Lu Jianfei and President Zhang Minxuan extended New Year blessings to the students and their family members. Su Ming，Director of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, hoped the students emjoy good health and make more progress in the year to come.

   The leaders gave new year gifts to the students and had traditional food together with them like the dumplings and tangyuan (sweet dumplings made of glutinous rice) to celebrate the festival.
      
    The university gave a package of gifts to students, including a dinner at the New Year’s eve, a dinner card, a phone card, a new year’s gift, and students could also enjoy a comfortable bath for free. All these considerate service offered by the university made the students feel at home.
