SHNU: The opening ceremony for the 5th SHNU International Art Festival was held in East Auditorium of Xuhui Campus on December 16th. The Auditorium was full of enthusiastic audience, including SHNU teachers and students as well as local residents.
At the beginning of the ceremony, SHNU Party Secretary Lu Jianfei and the President of the Glazunov Conservatory of Music respectively delivered brief but warm speeches. After that a concert of Russian Romance was performed by the Russian Folk orchestra of Glazunov Conservatory of Music.
The orchestra presented many famous Russian Folk music compositions including the world-renown music “A Night at Moscow Suburb” and “Katyusha”. The famous Chinese music “The Jasmine” was also performed at the end of the concert, arousing the sympathy of all the audience.
The brilliant performance, winning thunderous applauses, was a great success.
