SHNU: On November 21-24, Dai Xiaodong, associate professor of Foreign Languages College was named as vice-chairman of China Association for Intercultural Communication (CAFIC, owing to his contribution to promoting the China-foreign academic exchanges at the 10th CAFIC International Conference held in Haikou, China.
Established by Mr. Hu Wenzhong, deputy director of Beijing Foreign Studies University in 1995, CAFIC boasts a history of 18 years. It enjoys a high reputation in China foreign language circles.
