SHNU: On November 27, SHNU Party Secretary Lu Jianfei gave a lecture entitled University Spirit and Campus Culture Construction to the 2013 doctoral candidates.
Lu pointed out that university spirit is the soul and life of a university. Under the background of globalization in the 21st century, a university is not only a place to teach knowledge and skills but also a palace from which students will inherit the national culture and civilization, integrate diverse cultures and realize cross-cultural communication. Lu also explained such concepts as university spirit, core value of socialism, value pursuit of a university and Chinese university spirit.
The lecture was well received by the doctoral candidates and they all hoped more and more university leaders could gave such vivid and informative lectures in the future.
