Shakespearian Classic Restaged on the Campus

SHNU: On November 15, the Merchant of Venice, one of the four comedies written by William Shakespeare, was performed by senior students from Xie Jin Film and Television Art College on Xuhui campus.

   Enjoying an enduring popularity, the classic also attracts wide attention from teachers and students of the university. The play redirected was a perfect presentation with a marvelous combination of light, music, costume and of course the amazing performance of actors on the stage. 

   Particularly worth mentioning is that witty chat-up lines close to life was added, which caused ceaseless laughter and bursts of cheers through the show. The play will last six days until November 20.
