SHNU Visited by Delegation of Saginaw Valley State University

SHNU: On October 25th , Vice President of SHNU, Cong Yuhao met a group of three visitors from Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU). With Academic Affairs Office as an initiator, the International Exchange Division and the Personnel Department received the delegates, two of whom, Doctor Robert Maurovich and Ms Carolyn Wierda, represented respectively the SVSU authority and the College of Education of SVSU.
 
The two parties exchanged opinions and finally determined on three things: sending management staff of SHNU to Saginaw Valley State University in 2014, dispatching students from SHNU to Saginaw for internship programs and receiving the principal delegation of elementary and secondary schools from Gerstacker in June, 2014.

Together with the Academic Affairs Office, Doctor Deborah Smith from the College of Education of SVSU gave a lecture entitled How Faculty are Prepared for US Higher Education and Methodology for University Classroom Teaching to three groups of people: trainees of Teacher Professional Development Center, SHNU young teachers and Graduate Students majoring in Curriculum and Teaching Methodology.
