SHNU: Graduate Students majoring in Editing and Publishing from SHNU College of Humanities and Communication visited China Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair at ShanghaiMart Exhibition Center from November 7 to 9.
In order to extend their professional outlook and keep track of the latest events which happen in the world of publishing, the students are visiting China Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair these days. Among the books exhibited there are books published by different publishing houses of China, England, France, USA, Ireland, Malaysia etc. As it is evident from the event’s name, the books presented at the Book Fair are exclusively devoted to small readers. From the professional point of view it is always important for every editor and publisher to follow the latest trends which have place in the sphere of publishing. Visiting current Book Fair is a good opportunity for students majoring in Editing and Publishing not only to compare different approaches which are applied by different publishing houses in different countries, but also get inspired for the creation of their own genuine ideas.
