SHNU: Prof. Yukio Tamura, Chairman of IAWE (International Association for Wind Engineering), was appointed as honorary professor of SHNU College of Architecture Engineering in the library of Fengxian campus on October 18. Prof. Tamura also delivered a lecture after the appointment ceremony. SHNU Vice President Ke Qinfei delivered the welcoming speech.
At the lecture, Prof. Yukio Tamura explained the principle and concept of wind power engineering design with experimental models and digital analysis. Moreover, by showing a series of cases, he vividly described the safety influence generated by wind power and emphasized the importance of wind power engineering in architectural design industry. The professor also had heated interaction with students, who benefited a lot from him.
After the lecture, Ke issued the Letter of Appointment to Prof. Tamura.
