SHNU: Shanghai Normal University celebrates her 59th birthday anniversary on October 16th.
Approaching the Meritocrat of Education, one of the celebration series, was held at the Hall of Jiaoyuan Building. Zhang Zhimin and Bian Songquan who are rewarded the honor of “the Meritocrat of Education” are also the alumni of SHNU attended the activity and respectively give the lecture to the senior students.
The speech of Zhang Zhimin is themed by how to turn the knowledge that young teachers impart to the students into wisdom, laying much emphasis on the importance of the job to help students be creative. Bian Songquan also talks about his perspective of the young teachers.
Moreover, President Zhang Minxuan delivers the opening speech for the celebration. Together with Lu Jianfei, SHNU Party Secretary, President Zhang Minxuan announced the new school logo. SHNU receive the donations for the celebration from Li Zhaofeng, Hong Kong Prosperous Line Group co., LTD, Shanghai Han Zhe Education Foundation for Poverty Alleviation, Jin Shi Da Multimedia co., LTD, and the Lees. The donation ceremony is held at the anniversary ceremony.
