SHNU: The Week of Practice and Education Activities held in SHNU College of Tourism lasted from May 21st to 24th. SHNU Vice Party Secretary Yang Weiwu was among the attendants with almost 200 teacherand student representatives. It marks a tentative trial of education practices aiming to direct a creative teaching mode and thinking patterns for teachers and encourage students to bring forward proactive theme designs and solve the problems on their own. According to statistics, about 32 education practice activities characteristic of tourism and 13 majors have been covered during the short 5 days. Among them, golf-skill contests, shows of exhibition management department, beer barbecue festival of hotel management department, tourism product design contest of tourism management department, English dubbing show of International Tourism Department, Contest of Chinese and western foods of Cooking Department，etc. |
