Recently, 12 students and teachers from London South Bank University have come to SHNU and interacted with the Grade-2010 students majoring in Performing Art of Xie Jin Film and Television Art College. They also attended the training workshop of body drama, which was run by Mr. Tang Jianwei.  The theme of the training workshop is Let the Body Talk. Mr. Tang Jianwei introduced the elements and the key points of physical theater and the training workshop to the students and teachers of London South Bank University. Students from the two universities did body practice under the guidance of Mr. Tang Jianwei. During the practice, the cultures and the acting skills of China and Britain were intertwined, which gave the students of both countries refreshing ideas and stimulated their sense innovation. After the training workshop, students of SHNU performed for a physical theatre a play entitled Medicine, which was adapted from the short story of Lu Xun. Students performed with heart and soul and their bold imagination replaced magnificent scenery. Their wonderful costumes and colorful makeup become the soul of the stage.
